General Rule:
- The student's uniform must be clean and neat.
- Buttons, zippers, and hooks must be properly fastened. Avoid using temporary items like safety pins or clips.
- The student should carry a handkerchief every day.
- The student must keep their nails trimmed and clean.
- The student should apply oil to their hair before coming to the Gurukul.
- Students who commute from home daily must bring nutritious snacks in a steel container. Plastic containers are not allowed.
- Guardians must ensure that homework assigned by the Gurukul is completed regularly.
- Any student exhibiting improper behavior may be subject to disciplinary action, including dismissal.
- If a student damages any Gurukul property, their guardian will be responsible for compensating the loss.
- It is mandatory to provide the correct address and phone number of the guardian to the Gurukul.
- Hostel students are not allowed to keep mobile phones or other valuable items.
Rules of Hostel:
- Hostel students are not allowed to keep mobile phones or any other valuable items. Guardians may contact their child only on Saturdays between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM or on Sundays between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Students are not permitted to make phone calls except in urgent situations. For any special instructions, guardians should contact the hostel warden.
- Students are strictly prohibited from receiving any unnecessary items or cash.
- Guardians must register any luggage or items at the hostel office before handing them over to their child.
- Only letters signed by the Principal (Pradhanacharya) and the Hostel Warden will be considered as official communication from the Gurukul. If a student fails to return to Gurukul after a holiday without a written notice submitted to the Hostel Warden, a fine will be imposed.
- In case of absence from class due to illness, hostel students must submit an application signed by the hostel warden, the doctor, and the administrative staff.
Rules regarding fees:
- Under no circumstances will the deposited fee amount be refunded.
- It is mandatory to deposit the fees in separate installments within the prescribed deadlines: at the time of admission, and during September, December, and February.
- If the fee is not deposited within the specified time, a late penalty of Rs. ___ will be charged. If the fee remains unpaid for more than one month beyond the due date, the student's name will be removed from the Gurukul. Re-admission will only be allowed after submitting a written request from the parents along with a fine of Rs. ___.
- Fees will not be accepted via cheque. Payment must be made through demand draft, money order, or in cash.
- All disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the local court.
Standard-Rules Rules:
- Students will be promoted to the next class according to the rules set by the standard board and the Education Department. Practices such as asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breath control), chanting, and self-discipline contribute to a long and healthy life.
- Students who are absent during the annual examination will be given a re-exam.
- Students must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in all subjects to pass.
Library Rules:
- Maintain complete silence in the library at all times.
- Do not damage books by drawing, marking, or tearing pages. If a book is damaged, a fine equivalent to its market price will be charged.
- Books must be returned or renewed within 7 days. Failure to do so will result in being fined.
Rules of Vehicle:
- The vehicle will stop only at designated stations.
- It is mandatory to be present at the pickup point at least 5 minutes before the scheduled time.
Holiday rules:
- Students are not allowed to leave the Gurukul without permission from the administrator or the hostel warden.
- Leave applications must be submitted in advance.
- Students should not be sent with any relatives or maids without written permission from their guardians.
- Permission for students to go home during holidays will be granted based on the decision of the administration.
- With written permission from parents, students may go with their local guardians during holidays.
- At least 75% attendance is required for promotion to the next academic year.
- Students with full attendance will be rewarded at the end of the academic year.
Rules for Leaving Gurukul:
- Guardians who wish to withdraw their child from the Gurukul must submit a written application at least one month in advance. Mid-year withdrawals will be permitted only under special circumstances and only after the full annual fee has been paid.
- The transfer certificate and any refundable amount will be provided 7 days after all dues have been cleared.
- Students should not be sent with any relatives or maids without written permission from their guardians.
- Students will not be allowed to switch to non-residential status in the middle of the academic session.
